These laypersons are trained by the Diocese and Trinity to serve the liturgy of the Church. Lectors read the scripture lessons and Intercessors lead the Prayers of the People. Eucharistic Ministers can perform either of these function and are also licensed by the Diocese to administer the chalice at Holy Communion. People who are active in this ministry may also provide these functions for special services during Lent, Holy Week, and for weddings and funerals. If you are interested in joining any part of this ministry at either the 8 am service or at the 10 am service, please contact Rachel Taber-Hamilton.
